Our Services
Day Care
Why Choose Ascalon?
Firstly, we have a fully trained Canine Behaviourist with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour on-site. As a small business, we are able to provide our full attention to a limited number of dogs, ensuring every guest receives individual care and attention.
We are licensed and inspected by East Suffolk Council and have achieved a Five Star Rating.
Every dog's day is tailored to their age, personality and energy levels. All dogs enjoy a daily countryside walk or an adventure to the Suffolk coast.
Our daycare provides a healthy balance of exercise, play, mental stimulation, enrichment and, of course, rest in our comfortable heated and monitored accommodation.
We believe enrichment is equally important for a dog's mental health and wellbeing. We set aside time each day to provide opportunities for problem-solving, confidence-building and scent-based activities.
Full Day Care
8:00am – 6:00pm
Modern life often means balancing work and family commitments. Our full-day care service provides your dog with companionship, exercise, enrichment and supervision throughout the day.
Daily routines include countryside walks or coastal adventures, followed by important rest periods. Afternoons often include scent work, hide-and-seek games, puzzle feeders and reward-based training activities.
Boarding
A Safe and Caring Environment
At Ascalon Canine Care, your dog becomes part of the family. Boarding dogs enjoy the same daily routine as our daycare guests, including walks, enrichment activities, playtime and plenty of rest.
Prior to any stay, we carry out an assessment to ensure your dog is comfortable and suited to our environment.
Our dedicated boarding building includes:
- Heated accommodation with comfortable beds
- Individual feeding and watering areas
- Security camera monitoring
- Smart smoke detection alerts
- Secure gardens and outdoor areas
- Continuous supervision and care
Holiday Boarding
We understand that leaving your dog behind while you are away can be difficult. Our aim is to make every dog feel part of our family while giving them a holiday of their own.
