Holiday Boarding
Your Holiday, Their Holiday Too
Planning for Your Break?
Many families look forward to a well-earned break each year, whether that is here in the UK or further afield. Whilst many holidays can be planned around our dogs, sometimes alternative care is needed.
We understand that leaving your dog behind is never a decision taken lightly. After all, they are part of the family.
At Ascalon Canine Care, we offer a personal holiday boarding service for a small number of dogs, allowing us to provide individual care, attention and companionship throughout their stay.
As spaces are limited, we strongly recommend booking well in advance, particularly during school holidays and peak travel periods.
Part of the Family
Our aim is simple: to make your dog feel part of our family and give them a holiday experience they can enjoy too.
Every guest enjoys a healthy balance of exercise, play, enrichment, mental stimulation and important downtime.
Daily routines are tailored to each dog's age, personality and energy levels, ensuring they remain happy, comfortable and relaxed throughout their stay.
- Daily countryside or coastal walks
- Supervised play and social interaction
- Enrichment and confidence-building activities
- Comfortable heated accommodation
- Individual care and attention
- Regular updates for owners
Exploring Suffolk
One of the things our guests enjoy most is exploring the beautiful Suffolk countryside and coastline.
Depending on weather, suitability and individual needs, walks may include:
- Fynn Valley
- Christchurch Park
- Sutton Heath
- Woodbridge
- Waldringfield
- Newbourne Springs
- Shingle Street
- Orford
- Thorpeness
- Aldeburgh
- Felixstowe
- Other dog-friendly beaches and countryside locations
We know how much owners miss their dogs while away, so we keep in touch with regular updates and photographs throughout their stay.
Daily Enrichment
We believe enrichment is just as important as physical exercise for a dog's overall wellbeing.
During their holiday stay, dogs are provided with activities that engage both mind and body, including:
- Problem-solving games
- Scent work and searching activities
- Confidence-building exercises
- Reward-based learning opportunities
- Individual attention and interaction
