What's Next?
We offer a free, no-obligation consultation at Ascalon Canine Care. This gives you the opportunity to meet us, ask any questions you may have and discuss any specific requirements for you and your dog.
At the end of this initial meeting, we will provide you with our Registration and Booking Consent Form, which can be downloaded below.
Our Introduction Process
Step 1 – Meet and Greet
Meet us, view our facilities and discuss your dog's individual needs.
Step 2 – Assessment Walk
We arrange a walk to assess how comfortable your dog is with us and begin building trust and familiarity.
Step 3 – Social Introduction
If appropriate, we will gradually introduce your dog to our own dogs during a walk and help them become familiar with the Ascalon environment.
Step 4 – First Daycare Visit
If everyone is happy and spaces are available, we can arrange your dog's first daycare session.
Following their visit, we will discuss how they settled, how they interacted with others and whether any additional familiarisation sessions would be beneficial.
Ongoing Care and Assessment
Caring for dogs is an ongoing process of observing behaviour, monitoring wellbeing and ensuring they continue to enjoy their time with us.
We will always keep you informed of any concerns or behavioural changes that we observe during your dog's stay.
Whilst most dogs settle very well into our environment, daycare and boarding are not suitable for every dog. If we feel your dog is not happy, comfortable or enjoying their experience, we will always discuss this openly and honestly with you.
Any aggressive or dangerous behaviour may result in us being unable to offer future daycare or boarding services. Our priority will always be the safety and wellbeing of every dog in our care.
Registration and Booking Consent Form
Please read the registration form carefully and answer all questions fully. The information provided helps us deliver the highest possible standards of care, safety and wellbeing for your dog.
Once we have agreed your dog's requirements, please sign and return the completed form.
Information supplied on your registration form will be used for future bookings unless updated by you in writing.
